Meet Shawna, one of our personal trainers at Sweat Equity Fitness. Shawna holds a certification from The National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Shawna’s journey and commitment to health and fitness began around ten years ago, when she achieved a weight loss of a little over 90 pounds. Between her own fitness journey and 2 years of experience working as a personal trainer at MIT, Shawna is able to effectively share her wealth of knowledge to all. Her passion for fitness continues at home staying active with her two little girls!
Shawna’s areas of expertise are; hypertrophy, weightlifting, fat loss, functional training, flexibility/balance, postpartum, post-injury and more. She will tailor her programs personally to each client, depending on their needs and goals!
